2001 Upper Deck Golf - Tour Gear |
Tour Gear: a trading card that contains a piece of golf shirt and hat.
Each card in this subset is Serial numbered to 50. The golf shirt and hat swatches used for these cards are guaranteed authentic & worn by the depicted player in a golf tournament. Obviously cut into very small pieces then used to create these cards. If you were to tear apart the card you will find a square piece of the shirt and hat measuring approximately 1"x1". Upper Deck chose a die cut circular shape to showcase the shirt and hat swatches on these cards.
The complete set of Tour Gears consists of 27 different PGA tour professionals.
There is one major variation in this set and it's of Tiger Woods. Out of the 50 cards produced, there are 40 cards with a White Shirt Swatch and 10 with a Red Shirt Swatch. A few others player's have variations. There are 5 known player's that have a Breather Hole in the hat swatch!
